The plumber came this afternoon.
He brought a super-duper pooper scooper. a big machine took two people to get it into the basement. Plugged it in to the hydro, rammed it down the drain and scowered it clean all the way to the street.Took out a ball of root four inches thick and about four feet long.
Sometimes it pays to use a professional.
So all's good news now.
