I will not die an unlived life

I will not die an unlived life
I will not live in fear of falling
Or of catching fire
I choose to inhabit my days
To allow my living to open me
Making me less afraid
More accessible
To loosen my heart
So that it becomes a wing, a torch, a promise
I choose to risk my significance.
To live so that that which comes to me as seed
Goes to the next as blossom
And that which comes to me as blossom
Goes on as fruit.

I admit, I don't get out often ... ok, I lie ... I get out alot ... but it's not often I run across poems that hit me where I live.

I first heard this poem last night ... but doing an internet search, apparently someone has already written a book, following the premise of "not dying an unlived life."

So, for all I know, the poem is old ... or it could be new.

I don't know.

But I think it captures the spirit of our little group here. We are not afraid to get out of our safe, little houses, and venture forth in our molded fiberglass campers.

And the spirit of sharing ... of taking a seed and passing it on as a blossum. And taking a blossum, and passing it on as a fruit.

Well, this spirit of nurishing each other sums up our universal spirit here on fiberglassrv.com ... and everyone's willingness to share their knowledge, experiences and encouragements.

Great Poem, Charles

I have been so busy the last few days, this one just slipped by me until now.

Very powerful, Charles.

The first line alone speaks volumes. I think I'm going to print that out and post it in my trailer.......

Thanks

Unlived Life

Thanks, Charles
You always come through at the right time. We need that thought today. I, also, have printed out the poem.
