Ok so it wasnt' in my PC, but I got an e-mail with pictures of it actually happening to someone. it was all twined around inside. I think it died. shocked it. I would have died if it had been mine. I HATE snakes.

Then I guess you don't want to hear about the time I caught one poised right next to my bed pillow.

(Oops, I'm telling you anyway!) I was across the room from it. It was middle of the afternoon, on a very hot day. Thing had come in through a crack between the window frame and an air conditioner, and was making himself (or herself) at home. We both FROZE when we saw each other. I wasn't letting him out of my sight... and the feeling was apparently mutual.

It was actually pretty interesting, especially once I figured out the snake was not a viper.

No joke.

Well, Jana. It had a happy ending. The snake left.

It was actually kind of funny, too. He started to go back out the crack he came in through, and about half way out, he got stuck. So he ''s'd'' up his long, slithery self and poked his head back inside, like he was coming back in.

I hollered at him, ''Oh no you don't! You came in that way; you can go OUT that way!'' I probably even :nono my finger at him.

And he did.

Curled (or, coiled) himself up on the window ledge (outside, under the air conditioner) and took a little siesta, after all that exertion.

By the time Skip came home from work, about 3 hours later, Mr. Snakes had found a more hospitable hostess. I didn't follow him to see where he went.

:cblob

P.S.

It was a water bed. Couldn't move it.

Not only did we take the A/C out of the window, we tore down and rebuilt the whole bedroom. No more cracks in the walls, windows, or anywhere.

But, remember... he wasn't a viper. He was actually a friendly.

Snakes Alive!!

Read this carefully now.
Inside the broom closet two brooms were getting ready for their wedding.
The groom broom whispered to the bridebroom ''You look beautiful''
The bridebroom replies '' Thankyou dear now I have some news'' What is it says the groom broom? Well,we are going to have a little whisk broom says the bridebroom. Thats impossible says the groombroom! Why? says the bridebroom ,and the groombroom replies....Because we have'nt even swept together yet!

:hiding :duck

your idea of friendly and mine are different. any snake that want's to sleep on my bed or even anywhere in my house is not a friendly, he is a stupid, and not long for this life. just like the snake that thought he could live off my chicken eggs. or the one that wanted to use the guest bathroom in the old house. It took me months to be able to walk into that bathroom, and NEVER again in the dark.

I cannot believe these horror stories! Snakes stowing away in computers . trying climb into bed, hiding in guest bathrooms ugh!( Well Jana at least they would'nt overstay their welcome:) the guests that is) I am always wishing I could be in a warm climate, but am beginning to wonder .What type of snakes are we discussing here ? Mary said it was good 'cos it was'nt a VIPER!!Are they all over or just in Texas and Oklahoma?

what kind

the snake kind.. :laugh
the one in the chicken house was a black snake. they are *good* snakes. but he is really good now.
the one in the bathroom was a rattler. a not so good snake, but he is better now. :)
we do have snakes, but they don't like people and if you give them a chance like Mary did they will leave. But my fear is why I have a Silky Terrier dog. they were bred to kill snakes and mice. (snakes follow mice into houses, not that I think Mary had a mouse by her pillow) they can even kill the bad ones all the while I'm jumping up and down holler. My brother think all snakes are good. did I tell you he's crazy. he likes to camp in the snow in a sleeping bag. but I think he has out grown this affliction.

new house

this house is nice and tight, made sure of that. no mice so no snakes. unless I leave the window open like Mary did. :) just don't sleep in the chicken house. that was at this place. it's a wonder I hadn't gotten a snake in the MH. I could not keep the mice out. came through the motor part I guess. that's anothe nice thing about the TT. I sould be able to find and keep all the holes plugged. where's that why I love thread? I'll go add that. :yep
