Roy Rogers
Roy Rogers bought some new shoes and left them out on the porch to air out.
The next morning they were found to be all chewed up apparently by a cougar.
Any cougar that would come that close to humans was a danger.
So Roy mounted Trigger and went out to hunt the cougar.
A few days later, he returned with a dead cougar slung over the saddle.
Dale Evans greeted him singing:
Pardon me, Roy, is that the cat that chewed your new shoes?"

The last one I'll pitch is about the native american tribe that only had 500 members.

Finishing up the two stories alluded to
There was a baseball team who did well on the talents of their pitcher, Milt Famey. Milt, however, had one weakness: beer. Knowing this, a competing team provided Milt with cases of the amber fluid.
After the game and the competition having won, one of the competition players noticed a case of beer in the dugout and inquired about it. His team mate answered him, "That is the beer that made Milt Famey walk us."
The indian tribe was known as the Heckarwi. It seems that they were continually lost and wandered around saying. "Where the heck are we?'
