It's easier to get forgiveness than permission.

Don't accept "No" from someone who can't give you a "Yes."

Not forgiving is like drinking rat poison and then waiting for the rat to die.

My pappy always said, "read the bottom of the boot," usually after I had assembled something backwards - or upside down.

This expression stems from the saying, "He's too dumb to pour night water out of a boot with the directions printed on the heel."

A lot of money is tainted: 'taint yours and 'taint mine.

If you don't pay your exorcist you get repossessed.

You feel stuck with your debt if you can't bubudge it.

A plateau is a high form of flattery.

Make sure there's paper on the roll BEFORE you sit down.

AS I lay in my bed, looking up at the stars, I couldn't help but wonder, where the hell is my roof.

Don't really think that means anything. I just think its funny and don't know where else to post it.

The 5 "Watches"
Watch your thoughts; they become words.
Watch your words; they become actions.
Watch your actions; they become habits.
Watch your habits; they become character.
Watch your character; it becomes your destiny.

The Japanese eat very little fat and suffer fewer heart attacks than the British or Americans. On the other hand, the French eat a lot of fat and also suffer fewer heart attacks than the British or Americans.

Conclusion:
Eat what you like. It's speaking English that kills you.
