still winter!

We have more fresh snow. This is getting BORING! The only way I cope is by sending silly pictures to discussion forums.

Unhappy

I feel your pain Hazel. Here in Saskatchewan May long weekend is the opening of camping season. We have our egg stored at a relative's farm and I don't know if it will be dry enough (if the snow ever melts) to pull it out

Hazel, I know your pain! Finally got into the Ventura today after digging a path though the 2 ft of snow still piled on the side of it. In Edmonton we are about 15 degrees below normal for this time of year and had snow on Saturday. The local tv weatherman pointed out that the first day of snow was Oct 20th and Saturday was April 20th so we have had snow for 6 months now!

Good thing, no damage to the trailer but had the roof braced just in case!

Just heard that Saskatchewan is having the coldest spring in over 100 years. Didn't David Suzuki say we had global warming?! Originally we planned to off and camping before May 24 - hubby is starting to think that the snow will still be melting by then - or the campgrounds will be flooded out.

This lady wrote a song all about it - to cheer us up, I guess.

That was a neat song Hazel.
And I got the shivers looking at your Canadian bathroom.

It was 70*F. here today. Put our last picknick table together for the m-i-l's 90th birthday. This next week will be too cold to do outdoor work for me. With 4 tables, she should have enough over flow room outside.

We are expecting snow today in central KS and this is just too late. I should have known by the coat on our chow mix this winter that we were in for a bad and long winter. I'll listen to her and not the groundhog from now on. Anyone have a recipe for groundhog stew because if it snows today, I'm going to go track one down!

Sure doesn't seem that the world is getting warmer. Six full months of snow covered winter is trying my patience.
