Ole. Sven and Lars belonged to the local SONS OF NORWAY LODGE and at the meeting one month they each won a prize .Lars won a weekend in Duluth, Sven a bag of grocery’s, and Ole the booby prize ,a toilet brush.
The next month they got to talking about it. Sven ,said. Boy dat der trip to Daloot sure vas great ve stayed at the Vikin hotel and vatched da ships out in da lake. Sven said Ya sure and me and Hilda never vent to da store for a whole veek . Der vas even liganberry yam in der!! Ole said Ya dat brush sure verked svell BUT AFTER 2 DAYS I VENT BACK TO USING PAPER!!!

Brings back memories of my grandfather calling a lamp a yamp, and so on!

She riplied Oh good we need them you can report to the airport tomarow Then she asked Ole and he replied 'I ben a shopper '[ Lady]What do you mean shopper [ole] I shop down trees [ lady] Oh you mean a lumberjack? [Ole] 'ya dat tooo'. [lady] I am sorry sir there isn't much need for lumberjacks these days [ Ole] Vat do you meen you give Sven a yob and vee are a team vee alvays verk toogedder.
