18

I got 18 correct, Terry! And thanks for the memories.

I'd completely forgotten about my mother using a soda bottle filled with water, with holes punched in the top to dampen the clothes she was ironing.

Man

Damn!

I got all 20, which ain't necessarily a good thing. Unless, of course, I can get an official Geezer Certificate. I hear that with one of those and $1.50 you can get a cuppa joe almost anywhere they'll let you in.

I AM NOT OLD. I'm just a classic film buff who happens to be exceptionally well-read. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. :reye2

This explains the soda water bottle with the holes poked in the cap?

(Actually, ours was an aluminum ''rose'' with a cork collar, similar to the end of a watering can. Fit the soda water bottle perfectly. Anyone else?)

Charles, I didn't WATCH my mother use the thing when she ironed. I used it myself when I ironed. :violin

I confused

I'm confused ... how come George got 21 right answers?

Oh, that's right. He's old, so he probably answered some of them twice.:) :) :)

Ol' George's doing better than I am!

I forget whether I answered them or not. And if I remember that I did answer them, I forget what answer I gave.

I remember!

Charles, you got one more right than I did. Or maybe it was one less. :wink What I can't remember is does that make you the more geezerly?

Now, don't get your bowser in an uproar - I'm only speaking in terms of this test.

:kiss

And

And, I still don't think it's kosher that George scored 21 on a 20 point test!

I don't care if he's old! It's not fair!
