Texas Driver's Education Classes

Why do Texas schools only teach Driver's Education classes on Monday, Wednesday and Friday?

Well, Ches, it's a big, big state, and there are lots of parking places!

Charles, It has been a long time since you were in Texas (apparently). Parking (or lack thereof) is a big problem nowadays... :nope

Would it qualify me as a geezerette if I told ya my folks said it wasn't appropriate for a girl to take driver's ed when I went to high school in Texas? Maybe it was like sports - built muscles in the wrong places!

Susan, I don't know why a proper Texas woman would want to take driver's education ...

Next thing you know, they'll want to vote!

I'm joking! I'm joking!:) :)

Charles, I'm not sure I could find the voting booth right now. This rv'ing is wearing me out and I haven't been out of the driveway yet. Took all my courage in my little hands and searched high and low for an rv park near Franklin (Southeast) Virginia for a tournament in March. Closest thing I could find was a place called White Tail Park. Was making a reservation when I discovered ..... you guessed it.... why they call it White Tail Park. I did find a different campground a little further out. :reye2 :reye2

Susan ... that's something Pam and I have never done ... and to be honest with you, don't think we ever will. Glad you found out about the park's policies BEFORE you pulled in! Talk about a shock!:o

Hey, it's the park's policy ... not Susan and mine!

But I got admit, the thought of me walking around a campground without my .... well, let's just say it wouldn't be a pretty sight no matter what the campsite looked like!

There is no way I could stay at a place like that. Now my Tom -- he'd say *move over here I come*.

Golf? tournament?
