Advanced Search Titles Only Broken

There are so many great posts on this forum that search is really critical if you have a specific topic you're chasing.

But the "search titles only" feature in advanced search is currently broken.

See attached screenshot. If you run that search, you get 2370 results and none of them have both the word "scamp" and "tires" in the title which is what you'd expect.

Is there any help I can offer on this? I truly value the site and realize it is a free service to me, so I feel a bit mixed sort of whining about it.

Use the dedicated Google "Custom Search" instead, John. There's a link in my sig file (bottom of this message), and it's also listed near the bottom of the Search menu.

We probably need to post a sticky somewhere, directing people to choose "Search Site / Google" instead of the "advanced" search.

I search ALOT and really wish the moderators would make certain all words in a title were spelled correctly..... and the titles have value for the topic. For instance, a topic title of "I need help," is meaningless for search purposes.

Some of us spend more time correcting typos than searching

The built-in search doesn't support Boolean operators: you're going to get results with any of the query terms. The Google search feature mentioned above works pretty darn well, though.
