Several of you have mentioned looking in your Cache File for past threads, etc.
If I have any, I don't know where to look.
Does any of it save automatically?
Tell me what to do and I'll go look.

I'm on Windows XP...this is where mine reside:
C:\Documents and Settings\[MyNameHere]\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files
I can sort by internet address and group all of the FiberglassRV stuff together. The problem sometimes lies in how you've got your computer files set up, I delete cache after a certain period of time and also have mine setup to always refresh, which cases new files to overwrite old files of the same name. That's the Catch 22.

Each browser stores them in different locations. Donnas is the correct location for Internet Explorer. Firefox buries them within the Firefox temps in your docs and settings folders, Netscape keeps them within the program files itself (Depending on your version.
On AOL? WHO KNOWS?????

Hello Mary, you are a new member
Perhaps you are able to extract messages from some stored pages.
But does that make any sense? I don't think so.
If Mike did not backup the board, a fresh start the only possibility.
Of course much good information is gone now.
But it is still in the minds of people.
So eventually, all good things will be there again. And more.

I can view any of the graphics in either IE or my graphics program. Right-click > open with....
In order to view the cached HTML....I view it OFF-LINE in IE, otherwise it tries to load the browser from the URL, not my cache.
Did that help?

Donna and all, I tried going to my Temporary internet files and found them but nothing opens up, when I double click, or there's nothing there. I'll keep digging and try it in some other ways.
I just thought that if I could find anything, I'd let you know in case Mike wanted it.
Thanks for the help.

Keith, right click on on a file and tell it to open with your browser.

OK, Gina, I'll try that. However, my Lapflop is dying and I'm going to have to send it to the hospital so all my time is now going to be spent backing up data.
It's a 14 month old Toshiba and just shuts off in the middle of working. You might know that the warranty expired Oct 12, 05 but I raised enough hell with them today that they say they're going to fix it at no charge.
I understand they've had a lot of problems with these doing that so maybe they're being nice.
We'll see.
Thanks again,
EKW
