Can't find what used to be there

Doesn't mean it's not still there somewhere, just means I can't find it. Some time ago, you could click on a trailer brand, then a type, say Bigfoot 5th wheel, and get a wide variety of pictures of that specific brand and model. I just spent too long trying to do that, so I thought I'd ask. How to do it now? Advanced searche results of Bigfoot 5th wheel include other brands. Search photo album results include photos of wheels. Help, please?

The dropdown menus under either Registry, Gallery, or Manufacturers buttons at very top of page all sort pictures by brand. You can specify a particular model and year to search for in Registry. Gallery contains the greatest number of pictures and multiple views of a particular trailer. Manufacturers has maybe a half dozen shots of trailers from member registry at top and relevant threads below.

Looking again at the Gallery button, the dropdown doesn't appear to work as it should, but all dropdown options do lead to galleries of pictures of brands listed alphabetically.

Under the Manufacturers tab, select the trailer type, which brings up about a half dozen pictures. Then, to the right of the pictures, click on Show More Pictures and you will get a lot of pix!

I can see from the responses that finding a path is sometimes tricky as you can't "see" the door and at some later date remembering which door and which path is also a problem. I seem to remember something from Psych101 about the Gestalt priciples of "proximity" and "figure and ground." as related to human vision. I think the idea was that you put all the doors together and you illuminate or otherwise make the bell or knocker stand out. The FGRV layout does some of this pretty well but as with so much site design there are way too may "local" bus stops hiding midblock for my taste. And I know that mixing metaphors is also not supposed to be good. I couldn't help myself.

And a brand new picture, too! http://www.fiberglassrv.com/index.html
Click on any mfr. at that list and it'll take you to a page with a description, links to threads about the brand, and in most cases pics of that brand in the registry.

I say in most cases because some brands appear to instead be linked to groups of which you must be a member to see the pictures.

Hi, Cam. I think what you're looking for are the old Albums, which are now in the Gallery. The software is more user friendly than the old Albums were, so members can and are encouraged to upload their own images. This has the obvious advantage of more pics, but also the disadvantage that it can be harder to find what you're looking for (the pics are arranged by date of upload - not always the most useful criterion for retrieval).

Anyway, the original pics are still there, posted by "Historian." I haven't figured out a good way to get to Historian's pics, but for most brands, they are NEAR the end of the pics. In other words, if a brand group (category) has 21 pages of pics, fast forward to the last page.

It's not elegant, but the Gallery is a work in progress...

I'm happily using the default style, which still has albums at the top, it just gives an error. When I switch to the eye-watering 2.0, the advice makes sense. I see the advantage of encouraging forum member participation with picture posting, but we seem to have lost some functionality in doing so. If the search function was more accurate, I could pull out the photos I was after. I really enjoy the community, but the mechanics of the forum seem to be declining. Having said that, I appreciate the Administrator's efforts in maintaining the site.
