Chrome Update - Security Patch ASAP

Hi folks - Please update chrome at the very first opportunity if you have it installed on your PC/laptop (even if you are not regularly using chrome).

An important security update patch was released by google on Friday and action is needed.

I use Chrome and Gmail all of the time and my Chrome system updates all of the time. Is there any special update? I can't find anything new on the website.

JD, open Chrome and click on the three vertical periods in the upper left. Click on Help, About Google Chrome. If you are not updated that will trigger it. You should be at version 99.0.4844.84.

That is the version I have.
I assume that the auto update feature took care of it when I closed the Chrome browser.

Oh man, I never close Chrome. Usually 3 windows with near 50 tabs open, all of them very important.

I do restart it when I see the update available notice.

I seldom use Chrome, unless something specifies I have to. Usually use Firefox.
