Daily email has stopped again

Hi there, we're not getting our daily FGRVs!? Can you help us?

This is the second time that we have not gotten any FGRV daily e-mails. The last one that we got was on December 19th. I sent a thread last summer and the problem was solved, but alas it has happened again.

Don, there have been several similar comments in the past few days but thanks for posting the date of the last one - it has helped us track down the issue and hopefully the next one should go out on schedule

I use gmail and until today hadn't gotten any daily digests for several days. Today I got it and there were 30 new emails...an all time record for me! I checked, and they were NOT in my spam folder. But I'm thinking that I did get all the ones I hadn't seen yet. 30 seems like an awful lot for just one day during Christmas week...

Well thanks to whomever it is for getting us all regular again.. I, for one, was missing my regular dose of the FGRV forum.. Not that I was lonely, I was missing the opportunity to see what others were up to and what other adventures to consider..

Steve Carlson--a moderator can help you--there's an easy turn-off. If you check at the bottom of your notifications, you can click on shut off all messages.

I've tried hard not to do that! BUT have come close and the last two weeks I've thought I did accidentally do it--but nothing helped.

Then, today, VOILA! Here it is again!

I didn't know how much I'd miss it until it was gone!

My email is Yahoo and I just got a notification of 30 new threads today after week of not getting any email. Don’t think the problem stems from your email provider because the absence has affected members with many different email accounts. Just glad to have it back again!

Personally, I'm having a hard time understanding why anyone would want more e-mails. When I feel like checking in, one tap opens the FGRV app and I can quickly scroll through recent posts. A short preview of the latest content lets me know if there's anything interesting going on in a thread without having to open it.

I have all notifications shut off, so no pop-ups, bells, or angry red circles pretending to be more important than what I'm doing at the moment.

Sorry... rant over... Perhaps I am missing something?

Yes, I found the place to change email notifications to weekly, but I am still getting multiple emails daily.
