Email notification.

I can't get the email notification on topics I want to follow anymore. This apparently came up after the big hack that shut down the site. When I try to activate it, I get an "already in use" message.

Any idea how I can fix that?

It's not a huge deal--I just try to remember which topics to check and follow them that way.

It's not a huge deal--I just try to remember which topics to check and follow them that way.

This is caused by having two, or more, registrations. When the new software upgrade was installed, it added numbers in front of every duplicate email address.

Just a quick note, this is one of the new security features of the new software; no duplicate email addresses. Being as big dumb computer, it doesn’t know which account you are currently using and picked the wrong one to leave alone (the first one).

We can go in a clean up the email issue, account by account, as they come up. I’ll see what I can find for you Bob.

I think it's working, now. I got an email notification for another topic.

Mike, I'm having the same problem. I checked to see if it was anything in my settings but I don't see anything. I'm so sorry this changeover has been so much work for you, I really appreciate all the time you have put in.

Lizbeth, your problem seems to be a bit different than Bob's. You only have one registration with one e-mail address.

Options (in left Nav Bar)
Email Settings

Under "Board Preferences" make certain the option you want to enable is checked.
