As of yesterday, when I open threads using the 'New Post' flag on the left of the title, they open in 'Outline' view, whereas before they opened in 'Standard' view. Apart from being a change (to which I am as averse as the next man), I don't think Outline view is very useful.

I can't see anywhere where I can set this as a personal preference, so I don't think it's something I've inadvertently changed - is it a software change?

Is there anything I can do to get 'Standard' mode back?

Andrew

YES Andrew. Go to the upper right of the thread and click on Options. You can change your screens back to Standard (under display modes) from there. Some how it got clicked off on your computer.

I hope this helps,
Mike

Once before I saw this happen. It was from someone who had posted a link to another post that had the outline format.

If you know what caused it let me know and I’ll edit the link back to standard.

But that just sets the display for viewing the current thread, doesn't it? The day before yesterday, I had to use that method individually on every thread I opened. Life suddenly seemed kinda short!

However I now seem to have reverted to getting 'Standard' view by default, so I'm as happy as a pig wallowing in the same **** he was in before....

Andrew

Edit: I forgot to say 'thank you', didn't I? Thank you.
