I posted my email address in one of the old posts on FRV and it now shows up in google searches. Is there a way for me to delete that post, or at least delete my email address out of it?

it is post #2 in thread # 33532

Thanks

Just know, it may take a while to disappear from Google... and it's possible it won't ever disappear. We can't control search engines and what they've indexed.

yeah I realize that. Not as if I am hiding from anyone or anything, but I googled my name and my email, and I was suprised at what I found. I was just trying to clean up any of these things. This forum I put my real name in as requested, and every other forum I put in my alias which is my email. So that post was one of them that made the connection. No worries if it doesn't ever go away, as I am not in witness relocation!

Thanks for clearing it up mike.

You click the "edit" button and fire away. If you don't see an "edit" button, it's because the time for member modifications has lapsed.

If you need to change something that is older than a day or two, report it to a moderator and we will happily do it for you.

I would like a moderator to help us, please, to delete our stevenarica listing of the Casita. It is in storage for the winter and we won't be able to repost until spring. Could this be arranged?

I can do that for you, no problem. The best thing for people to do to get this request to us, is to send a PM to a moderator. It is quite possible to miss these individual posts, especially ones on older threads.

Yeah... If I google myself I can find things I posted to usenet 20 years ago.

My favorite things are the "me"s that aren't really me. I'm an NFL football player somewhere, own a surprising number of small businesses around the country and sometimes work as a male stripper (now that would not be a pretty sight!). At least according to Google.

Thanks for adding that Roy. I posted in haste, and did not fill in enough detail.

Jim,
It would be great if you could delete our listing. We will re-post in the next couple months. Thank you!

I did remove it from the 'For Sale' section when I last posted here, and put it in the 'Archives', like we do with all trailers no longer for sale.
