Hi Michael. I am very sorry for you (and us).
Do you know how those hoolegans did get your password.
Was it to simple or have you been spied?
The software has a vulnerability. We are going to upgrade.

Hey, Webguy! The wise saying in your signature block is VERY appropriate!

“You can't control the wind, ...but you can adjust your sails”

We're all with you, Captain!

Jeese Michael ... I feel just sick!

But have no fear.

Once you install the new software ... we'll build it back better than ever, ok?

It's the people who make up a forum.

And as you know, your site is the only internet site I'll visit ... because of the people who post .... because of the moderators who watch out for us ... and yes ... because of you.

Unfortunately, there are too many crazies out there.

Non Illegitimi Carborundum.

Let's insulate ourselves from future attacks ... and get on with our primary mission ... of being happy campers.

Good. We can use all the help we can get.

When we upgrade the software, you may need to repost it again.

I will be rebuilding the structure here.

Michael
I have heard of stupid people doing things on line but this is the first
time it has effected me, while my loss is small compared to yours it is strange seeing all those fine post gone.
when I get back on my feet I will send you more money, I have been off work since march and had to take a disability retirement.
things are real tight in my household at this time good luck.

Michael and our fellow FGRVers-

We are so sorry to see that this fine group has been hit, but confident that all of us will be able to build it back into the excellent forum and sounding board for the exchange of ideas and advice that it was. Thank you Michael for all of your hard work in building and maintaining this website. You're incredible! We'll be sending a check to help with your costs.

Looking forward to the return of FGRV!

Lew, I'm not certain at this point Michael knows for sure about the login and password issue.

And thanks in advance for the donation, guess you know what the money will be used for....

Michael, I will post all that I have, after you get the new software up and running.
I'm presuming I'll know when that is.

I'll leave it to everyone else, to pick out "their notes," and edit them back to as close to original as possible.

Just trying to help, so don't get upset if they aren't "EGGSACTLY" as originally posted!

Check on the way Monday, Michael. I just can't express the anger I feel for evil people.

But, like Charles said, we can't let it ''grind us down'' .

We appreciate what you do so much!

I made a donation to the board 3 or 4 days ago using my credit card. Will they have the credit card numbers of those who donated that way?

Do they have the passwords we use to log on?

No. And, probably not.

The donation system has nothing to do with the forum software.

The passwords are encrypted. I don't think they were interested in information gathering. Just destroying.
