I have a question regarding logging in to this forum. I have been a member now for a couple of years and periodically I can't get logged in. This seems to happen after I have not been on for a month or two. Today for example, every time I tried to log on, my password was rejected. Now this is the same password I have used since I have been on this forum. I also made sure that I was using lower case, as always, but no luck. I went through the "forgot password" process and it said that an e-mail was being sent to my address. After about half an hour, no e-mail. I tried several times to re-register, adding my middle initial to my user name, but every time, it said that the e-mail address I submitted was already used by another member. I finally set up another e-mail account and changed the spelling of my name and got a new
registration. I think this gives me three registrations with you.
This is very frustrating, I use five other forums and this is the only one I have this problem with. I don't know how many times I have seen a topic that I would like to reply to but when I try to log on, I can't get on. so most times I just give up.
What can I do to avoid this problem? Using the "forgotten password" process does not work as I never get an e-mail back. You should find registrations for me under Al Nelson, (my original) Alan Nelson and the latest, Alan L. Nelson
