We have been working behind the scenes to create a new feature for our members. As a vast resource for all brands of molded fiberglass RVs it can sometimes be overwhelming to try and find discussions related to other trailers like yours. We have developed a tool which allows us to add another layer of organization to our community so we can continue to discuss our rigs collectively while at the same time organizing the discussions by brand as well.

From the home page you can now click on a manufacture and you will be taken to a special page that will show you discussions on that brand from across all our forums. Tou will also see entries in the Trailer Registry for that brand and with time we plan to evolve this page to include more specific information that viewers will find useful.



All the stock photos which were linked to from the home page can now be found in our Photo Gallery.

In the weeks to come we will be refining this system. Our goal is to setup the system so more members can help with keeping our discussions organized. It's a pretty easy task but it's not 100% automated. If a brand is included in the title of a discussion it will automatically be tagged and shown on that brands page. If it's not we will have to manually tag the discussion for it to show up. If you see any posts that are not showing up under a certain brand please report the post and we can then tag it properly so it shows up.

It's going to take us a little while to get settled in with this system. Thanks in advance for your patience while we get everything ironed out! In the end we will have a great resource for our viewers created by thousands of wonderful molded fiberglass owners!

Lot of work but this sounds like a fast welcome replacement for Google Custom Search!

Just remember, with these trailers, they are more alike than different. Other than the bodies and frames (and some interior pieces) everything else is really, really similar. So if someone says I've got a window leak in a Casita... the fix could apply to a Scamp, Escape, Eco, etc. Don't get so enamored with the brand that you don't look for solutions found with other manufacturers.

I love the Google Custom Search, and use it frequently when people are looking for solutions!

The FGRV Forum Custom (Google) Search is so useful, I put it in my sig file - where it's always handy!

Being able to string threads together by brand is a great improvement, but it's also just another tool in the shed. We'll still need a robust search function, as this body of knowledge has become huge!

the Play-Pac page at Fiberglass RV - Play–Pac Trailers has some Play-Mor listings that aren't on the Play-Mor page...
