I can see the multitier thing's gaining traction...how about including a sort of "opt-out" pay-to-pick your own identifier option?

I first logged in to FiberglassRV on March 23, 2003. Yep, David... that 11/12/2005 date is the first day after the hack. I lost more than 10,000 posts. So, if you think what you see in my profile now is a lot... add 10,000. BUT, I'm truly happy just being a member of this great forum. Wouldn't hang around as much as I do, if it wasn't important to me. Every single person who joins, asks questions and provides an answer is valuable. It's just a number... kinda like AGE

That is an average of 7.5 posts per day. Easily doable. Just give up half an hour a day of TV. I say that because I watch very little TV myself, and would much rather spend time interacting on the net with others

I just post while I am at the office. That way I do not have to give up my tv viewing time.

I think there is some element of being pleasantly surprised when ones rank moves up. Is good to know someone is new, or very active participant or have been active over a long enough period of time to have accumulated a fair number of posts.

Where do we submit our bids on picking a rank for Fransesca? I want to know the charity too, you might consider the closest well stocked micro brew store a worthy charity and I prefer to make those donations in person.
