My Casita ad

This is going to seem like a dumb question, but I have to ask. How do I get rid of an ad I placed? I found the rules about posting an ad and it says to tell the moderator once the trailer is sold, but I can't find a link to the moderator. My ad is for the Casita 2003 Liberty $9800 which is sold.

I just flagged your ad for removal. Give it a day or two and the moderators will remove it.

You just have to post that it is sold at the end of your thread. The Moderating team checks the ads for updates like that, and then relocates them to the Archive section.

Which brings up another question.. other than seeing the word "moderator" under your name in the posts you make, how does one actually find a moderator?

I promise, I have tried to find a list of moderators in the member list, links, etc., and failed every time.

Moderator's and administrator's names appear in boldface in the list of users at the bottom of the main forums screen (I think... I'm on the app at the moment, so I can't check... I know I see it if I scroll to the bottom sometimes).

My solution is to remember just one... so Jim always gets a PM when I need a moderator.

At the bottom of the forums list are two links:

"Mark Forums Read" and "View Forum Leaders"

The "Forum Leaders" R Us.

There is also a "Contact Us" link at the bottom of every page of the site.

OK, so I see a leader is the same as a moderator.. but "Contact Us" links usually go to the web site administrator instead of the forum moderators, who usually have little or no control over the administration of the full web site.

So maybe I am the only dense one here but in case anyone else needs it, the list of leaders referenced (here called Administrators and Super Moderators is here:

FWIW, Gordon, I'm the one who usually monitors the "Contact Us" section. It's quicker to shoot me a PM, but "Contact Us" works.
