I received this error once while attempting to load the FiberglassRV forum page today; the page presenting the error offered a retry link, which worked.
Quote:
IPB WARNING [2] mysql_connect(): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (111) (Line: 131 of /ips_kernel/class_db_mysql.php)
There's no problem now, I just thought Mike might want to see this.

Information is good. Lack of information is not so good, but misinformation is much worse. Check facts, and apply common sense liberally.

An update as to what occured this AM, we had a complete power failure on one of our 30AMP APC power distribution units. Devices typically begin to break circuits at 90% usage, we maintain 50-60% usage as a maximum on our power units.

This affected a segment of servers which were attached to this circuit, and all services should now be restored.

We are currently working with Time Warner, and APC to determine the cause of the power fluctuation or reason for this to occur.

I do apologize for this inconvenience.

No apologies required.

Thanks for the explanation, and for keeping FiberglassRV going.
