Nope, doesn't work for me either. Logged out, logged back in an hour later, sidebar shows turned off, but still there. It is there on lists of, and when reading individual, posts. Just my opinion, but, I liked the old better than the new. That being said, I appreciate everything all you folks do to provide this forum.

For me, the option to turn off the right side bar is only be functioning in 2.0 version and not the original version. Is this what others are experiencing?

It would be great if it were made available in the original as well.

Cheers,
Mark

Yes, Mark, that's what I experienced as well. Turning off the right column only works in the new look.

The light gray background looks great to my eyes now. Posts look clean and uncluttered and are very easy to read.

And I'm very glad to be rid of that right column!

Thanks Janet,

I'll work through whatever bugs it takes. I'm just happy to see this site coming back to loading a page in seconds rather than minutes.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!

I bow to your decision!

If this keep up after I get my trailers out of storage again, I should start contributing numerous posts and pictures again.

I'm thinking it's because the default skin will no longer be supported. I've also noticed all references to "Molded Lightweight Fiberglass" is missing from the main forums pages. Perhaps this forum will go to the same focus as RV.net and IRV2... where anyone with a "fiberglass" trailer is encouraged, which means stickies and seams....

It is the case that the older skin will not be supported as time passes but there is no intention to change the focus of the forum what so ever. I'll discuss the addition of a 'molded' tagline with the graphics wiz...

Ack, I just changed it back to the new look. It does not look light grey to me it still looks very bright. If I use this I will have to try dimming my monitor.

For FGRV 2.0 the header of all pages now reads:

MOLDED, LIGHTWEIGHT RV RESOURCE

I seem to have lost the option to use the former skin. Please don't tell me you killed it.
