Personal Photo not working

Hi there,

I lost my personal photo after the site was hacked. I have updated it and it appears when I visit My Controls>Update Personal Photo but it doesn't appear in any of my message posts. Did I miss a step along the way?

Rob, personal photos (on the right in your Profile) and Avatars (what appears below your name in a post) are two different things. You'll need to reload the Avatar. If you don't have the avatar and want to use your photo...go to your profile, and on the photo...right-click, Save As (someplace on your PC). For more information: Using Avatars

I am refering to the personal photo in the right column of the forum. Each time I post, my text info is there and a blank box with the missing picure red X. When I check the location properties of the blank pic it is http://www.fiberglassrv.com/board/uploads/av-1208.gif but when I check my new personal image profile the location is http://www.fiberglassrv.com/board/up...photo-1208.gif For some reason my profile is not updating with the new named file.

I don't use and avatar.

Rob, your personal photo in your profile shows up just fine.

What you (And the rest of us) see as a red X IS an avatar. (Or the space for one) The upload process is done from the different section in your controls as outlined in the linked instructions.

Your personal photo does not automatically turn into an avatar (Tho that would be nice!)

Go ahead and try the instructions, you'll see. Easy Peasy! Even I can do it.
