Hello, I tried to upload a photo to my discussion. Somehow can't get it to work.
I followed the link, clicked on choose file, clicked on the photo, clicked post, and it doesn't go.

check the size of the file, it can only be 400kb so you may have to resize it.

I've never bothered to resize a photo. Software takes care of it.
But, after opening the photo in browse, you have to click on Upload. And then you have to wait for the message "Uploading" to go away. Then you can click submit.

After the "uploading" goes away, you can return to your post and click the paper clip icon. If they're indeed done loading, you will see a list of the attached pictures. Then you can place your curser anywhere in the post and select the picture to insert. That allows you to mingle pictures and text in order to caption each picture. Otherwise, they all appear at the bottom of the post.

I prefer....

to leave them all at the bottom...then somebody can click on them and they appear in a larger size....in the post they stay in a smaller size...for some reason...for me anyways

I tried doing that yesterday and I couldn't get the photo to imbed in the text.

Not sure Roger. It worked for me yesterday. Do the photos appear in the list of attached files in the "manage attachments" window? What happens when you click the paperclip icon in your post?

Franswa, I just checked. When I click on an embedded photo, it opens in a viewer in the original (often larger) size. I tried another post with a non-embedded photo and it did exactly the same thing. Not questioning your experience, of course, just interesting...
