Posting Photos

For the life of me, I can't figure out how to post pictures on this site. I'm missing seeing something, obviously. Can anyone help?

There's a fairly complete tutorial on this forum. Have you tried reading that? That'll talk you through size and other issues.

Once you have the file you just add it to your post in the File Attachment section below your post text. Browse your directories, click the file, press "Add This Attachment".

It won't show up in the File Preview, but it'll be there when you post. The old software used to strip the picture out but this one doesnt' seem to do that.

I read the tutorial. But all I could find out was sizing questions answered. I received a PM which walked me through the process and I'm "cool" now. Thanks for your response.

Chris was exactly was missing from the Tutorial? If you're had problems, others may also. I'd like to add any information to the Tutorial that would help.

Fret not. People just interpret things in a different way. I went back just now and read through the posting tutorials................and was still confused. The PM I received walked me throught it and everything is fine. My first problem was I didn't catch the box below the reply box which says File Attachments. All sites have one, but I missed this one. So don't sweat it...............all is well.

Alright Chris, but if you think of ANYTHING that should be added, to help others...let me know It's one of those things, when the Ah-ha moment hits, you wonder why it seemed so hard.

Yeah, Chris. Those of us who have been doing this awhile tend to forget the little things that are cause for confusion when someone is learning. I think Donna's tutorial is GREAT, but, that doesn't mean there's no room for improvement. If you didn't catch the "File Attachments" box, no doubt someone else will have the same problem...

Of course, it might (would) be easier if the File Attachments were the first thing under the compose window, instead of it being after the "Post Options."
