Problem With Classified Posting
Is anyone else having a problem posting a classified ad? I get into a mode where I log in, it recognizes me and I click "post ad" and it kicks me back to the log in page - an endless loop.
I sent a note to the administrator and, unfortunately, have not received a reply.

Yes, I too, am having problems with the new system as well. I'll paste what I wrote in another thread...
You're not the only one. I haven't been able to read any of the Classified Ads since they made the change. I know it was meant to be an improvement, but it has blocked me out completely. When I click on the Classified section, or Ad, this is what I get every time:
“This site can’t provide a secure connection.
www.fiberglassclassifieds.com uses an unsupported protocol.
ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH”
If the problems can't be corrected, I, for one, would prefer going back to the way it was when everyone could read the ads.

used to be way easier now that they have changed to a new format, no one wants to help anyone or it sure seems that way in putting in a Referral into the Classifieds.

System was very unfriendly. It posted my ad photos sideways and upside down, at will. There was no way to right them after posting. They were all upright when posted.
I do appreciate the classified ads. Hope they are made easier to manage.

That won't change if you shot your photos with a smart phone. The smart phone outsmarted you and the web site. It attached coding that shows the photo correctly no matter which way you hold the phone.
You need to download the photos from you phone into a photo processing app and rotate them. That strips the coding that messes up the pic when posted on the site.
Or, you can shoot all your photos as horizontal, with the shutter button on the right.

I had problems last week posting to the classifieds, went through the process several times and no success, the next day I tried again and it all worked, don't know what happened. I did ask to reset my password, maybe that had something to do with it.

Still no luck. I got an email from the administrator with instructions, but unfortunately, the instructions were to do what I'm already doing - which doesn't work.
Anyone else get stuck in an endless loop between logging in and clicking "post free ad"?

Also got stuck in the endless loop. Like Trainman, the next day it worked fine, but I never had to reset my password.
Had a buyer within 24 hours and a list of three others wanting to buy.
Enjoy,
Perry

This is the most user unfriendly website I've ever encountered. Just so you know I'm not a neophyte, I post regularly on Craigslist and eBay as well as designing and managing two websites. I also write HTML code.

At the very bottom of this very page there is "Contact Us" and that is where you should post issues with the site, so that they are read.

Glen, thanks for the suggestion of using "contact us" - I just sent a message and if I receive a reply, I'll come back here and post it. - RJ

I recently posted an ad and it accepted it but it does not show up when I click on "Classified"...I have to go into my account and click on "My Ads" and it will come up. Hopefully the bugs will get worked out. Not sure if anyone else can see it.
