Hello;

I think there may be a problem with the fiberglassRV.com internet server. I frequently have problems connecting to the website. It started about a week ago.

Yves.

Sorry to hear you are having trouble. As you may know there are three machines involved in making your connection.
  1. Your machine
  2. Your ISP provider
  3. our server
The only one I can check is Our Server. Here is the uptime report from two major cities.

Current Status
Monitoring Location Status Last check Resp. time
Seattle, WA UP 08/29/2006 10:17 0.027
Chicago, IL UP 08/29/2006 10:14 0.063

This Month Uptime
Monitoring Location Total Checks Fails Average resp. time Uptime %
Seattle, WA 7982 7 0.8799 99.9123 %
Chicago, IL 7947 8 0.8711 99.8993 %
Total 15929 15 0.8755 99.9058 %

Uptime Statistics since 01/15/2006 00:39
Monitoring Location Total Checks Fails Average resp. time Uptime %
Seattle, WA 63941 74 0.7320 99.8843 %
Chicago, IL 62887 74 0.7349 99.8823 %
Total 126828 148 0.7334 99.8833 %

This is about as good as it gets in the industry. Could it be your ISP? I have not seen these issues from my location.

Sometimes it's the browser too. Every once in awhile I can't connect to this server using Opera. I switch to either Firefox or IE no problem. Then I restart Opera, so far that's worked for me.

You guys may be right.

Here at work, i can access Fiberglassrv.com (it's a different ISP, than the one I have at home though.) That's bizarre... Fiberglassrv.com is the only web site I can't access on my home computer.

I will have to check with my ISP.

Yves.

Well, after spending 3 days, trying to correct the problem i had, accessing two websites (including fiberglassrv.com), i finally found the problem:

do a reset of the cable modem, and a reset of the wireless router.

This was a very bizarre problem.

I could access my e-mails, and all but two websites. It's sad, when you're unable to access your favorite websites.

Everything is back to normal now.

Yves.
