Many folks post a picture of their rig with their identification info, so we get a tiny thumbnail peek of their setup. I would really like to be able to click on the picture and see an enlarged view. Instead, it links to the person's profile. Could this be done easily? Maybe there is some other way for me to get to the photo that I'm just not aware of.

Thanks for considering.
Parker

No, it can't be done easily. The avatars are tiny little things... and while your suggestion's a good one (actually, a GREAT one), this software's a package deal. Every custom modification not only has to be done by a (paid) programmer, but it also has to be reconfigured every time there's an update, etc. We have learned over the years, that we pretty much need to keep such things to a minimum.

On the other hadn, there IS a spot on our profiles where we can post a larger picture. If more people would add a picture to their profile, it would definitely be very cool!

Okay. Thanks, Mary. I guess I should get my act together and post a picture there as well!

Yes, you're dreaming. The files for the avatars have always been tiny, virtually postage stamp size. There's no way they could expand - not enough data to go bigger. (If it did, the picture would be "pixellated.")

It would be great to have large size images per member so they could post thier trailer(s). However, as a developer of sites similar to this forum I have dealt with a lot of 'feature creep' requests like this - makes a programmer tear his hair out... and which is also why I believe I am so "follically challenged"
