It used to be that when I singed off and later came back to the forum I did not have to sign in again as long as I didn't hit the log out. Now, no matter what, I always come back as GUEST. Am I doing something wrong? Yes I clicked the remember me box.

We have made a server upgrade and a few people have had the same problem. Most people are able to correct the problem by deleting their browser cache and deleting the History. This forces the computer to write a new cookie.

I hope this helps.

I'm still having a problem. I deleted cookies and history (Tools, Internet Options, General). That didn't help. I'm using IE. What cache should I be looking for? Searching for anything on the computer with "cache" in it's name doesn't show anything likely.

FWIW, I'm having the same problem when I access from home as well so I expect the fix would work there as well.

I'm having the same problem on my notebook, but none of my desktops. I use IE7 and have also cleared cache, cookies, temp files etc.

In my Firefox/Win98 combination, this site recognizes when last I was logged in, but still calls me guest and requires me to log in. The Delphi forums Boler goup recognizes me, and does not require repeated log-ins. I am resigned to logging on every time; I recognize that the Mike is a very busy guy and it takes time to chase ghosts...

I get the opposite problem from time to time. Since I share a computer, I want it to log me out each time, but every once in awhile (like maybe twice a year), it doesn't.

Have any of y'all tried telling it to Log Out? I wonder if doing that would reset whatever the problem is, and next time you could log in and be remembered after that?

Another thought: Do you regularly reboot your computer(s)?
