wrapping quotes?

ok.. when I reply to someones quotes i hit the 'wrap quote" but it doenst show up or work? Am i doing something wrong??

Hi Christi. The problem may be with your browser. On one I use (an older Netscape) the "wrap in a quote" button does nothing. On another computer, with a recent browser (SeaMonkey), if I select some text in my compose screen and then click on the "wrap in a quote" button, this system inserts (quote) and (/quote) "tags" before and after the selected text. (It uses square brackets instead of parenthese, though, of course.) Example:

 

	
	

			
				If I wanted to quote this text I would put a "quote open" tag in front of it and a "quote closed" tag at the end of it.
			
		

displays as:
