Well, we just got back from our 1st trip with our newly renovated 1974 Boler that I have nicknamed THE TANK.

Were are from Winnipeg and travelled east about 1.5 hours to Falcon Lake provincial campground for a 4 day, 3 night stay.

Well I must say, the weekend went without a hitch!!

The Boler pulled great and operated at 100%

We had a non-powered site, so my 12 volt system was tested to maximum capicity. We used our fan, lights and rocked out wth my Ipod and external speaker set up with no problems!!

I bought a hitch that allows you to have up to 4 bikes and still pull a trailer. So our bikes came along.

I rode around the entire campground hoping to find another Boler, but surprisingly, no such luck. I know of 4 bolers within a 2 mile radius of my home and the Boler was invented and manufactured in Winnipeg, so I thought forsure I'd see another. I did see 2 Surf-Sides and a Beachcomber though.

I got alot of looks, thumbs up on the highway and got asked alot of questions this past weekend!

I can't wait to take it out again!!

Here are a few pics of my weekend!

Congrats, Jayson!

I know a couple with a young son who take their 13 foot Boler to a campground just north of Selkirk and keep it there all summer (mom is a teachers aide, dad is there on weekends). A camper there who has been camping there his whole life now shows kids' movies (outside of course) every Saturday night at dark. With free popcorn or other snacks.

Also, while we were driving from Wpg to Selkirk, we got hailed by someone and we thought we had a flat tire or something. She was all, "I just bought a 13 foot Boler! Can I have a look inside?" We were pleased to stop for a quick tour for her, on Dugald Road in Transcona.

Many happy experiences!

Great looking trailer! I really like the color scheme, and the LED taillights.
Good wheel covers too! I put some similar ones on the Casita:

Wow! You have a great setup with your Boler and awning and screenhouse and bikes! Boondocking is the best, isn't it? These fiberglass trailers make camping in out of the way places so much more comfortable. Congratulations on a great first trip!
