Camping at Fort Stevens

So folks I'm considering going to Fort Stevens State Park, Oregon for a few days and my gosh what a big big campground it has.

My question to those of you who know the park is:

1. What's your preference the north or south loops??
2. Within the north or south which loop do you prefer??
3. Is there a particular campsite or campsites that you find to be preferable??

Some of my desires:

Not to be near a playground or additional parking area
Don't need immediate access to the rest rooms
I like private sites if possible.

Any help will be most appreciated.

When we were there last, I think we were in Loop I on the South end of the North loop. If my memory matches the map correctly, we were in site 075. There was a playground behind us between loops H & I and a few kids cut through near us but it was no big deal (for us anyway). All of the camp sites in this area have a fair amount of growth between them so are pretty private. I am thinking that you will be satisfied any where you land because it is a beautiful and quality park with lots to do in the area (both in the park, Astoria and the surrounding area.
