Tenting is kind of worthless as the termites move right back in since there is no residual left. So each time the house is sold it gets tented again. A friend of mind had dry wood termites so he used another process where they use some kind of electric current through the walls, and they set his house on fire. So maybe tenting is the way to go! I may have to do it when I sell though maybe not, didn't when I bought the house, and my former house didn't get tented, either.

They do have a new process for subterranean termites where they just bait the ground and Kill the colony.
