Camping Club Question

My family just purchased a camper after much research and I am excited to start camping. I have heard of different camping clubs that you can pay a yearly fee and get large discounts on campsites throughout the year. Has anyone had any experience with such clubs and if so which club is the best. Thank you and God Bless.

Jake and family! Before we found our GeezerEgg, we van-camped and were the King & Queen of the KOA system. KOA's are lovely campgrounds, but recently they have gotten too spendy for our budget. We can only speak about one discount program. We have belonged to Passport America for several years, and have been pleased with the member-campgrounds and rates. We've had a couple of less-than-satisfactory experiences, but overall, we like using this membership. There is a similar group - Happy Campers - don't know anything specific about that one.

Whether or not a discount club is right for you will depend on the kind of camping you choose. We often prefer camping in state/county/national parks, where we frequently use our Golden Age pass. If you prefer "resort" type RV parks, a discount club might pay off. Whatever you choose, we wish you safe travels and many, many happy memories. Take care, L 'n D
