Camping in Western N. Dakota and E. Montana

If you are planning a trip through N. Dakota, E. Montana expect not to find many camping spots. The oil industry has taken off in the last two years and the campgrounds and motels are filled with oil guys. My husband is starting a position with a company that services the oil industry and had a hard time getting a campsite in Dickinson and a motel when he couldn't get a campsite. The company is going to let him camp in the parking lot which means he gets to try out the incky, dincky shower. He's small, sorta. Getting the Blue Thing to a dump site may be a problem. We lived in Montana a year ago and housing was already an issue in the area.
