We just got back from a few week trip to Colorado and have uploaded the travel photos to webshots---lots of great and beautiful places in Arizonia, New Mexico, Colorado, etc., but two of my favorite pictures came from the place that always feels like home---the Eastern Sierra.

Guess over the years that we both have spent so much time camping, hiking, backpacking etc., in the Eastern Sierra, that we never grow tired of visiting there. Problem this time was that we were running out of time and couldn't stay long enough---very cold at night in the high country, and several campgrounds are closed.

My two favorite pictures

Virginia Lake near Bridgeport---road there is from the top of the Sherwin Grade
