First Camping Trip In The Scamp

Well after downsizing from a 34' 5er to our little 16' 2002 Scamp. We had our first camping trip. We headed to Badin Lake in Uwharrie National Forest N.C. After turning down the main road heading to the campground; suddenly signs stated the road was closed ahead due to a bridge repair. So, I simply pulled into a private driveway and turned around. I couldn't have done that in the big camper. We are adjusting to the smaller accommodations but all is good. We had a good weekend and had alot of positive comments about the camper. So glad you enjoyed the first trip. I have found more than once how nice it is to have a FGRV. Our Scamp 5er is able to turn around in tight spots.
Also we can go and enjoy places were no big Sticky dares to tread.
With a Gen set, water filter and wash tub for fire ring we can camp in some wonderful remote locals,
