One choice is to replace it. Call around to RV salvage yards or look on EBay for a used tank.

If it holds water after I finish, as said, I do not travel with water in tank just go from potable water fill to site, Wonder if it will hold good enough for that. as said the glass that I have put on seems to be stuck well to the tank itself.
I was worth a try, I had the glass and epoxy/resin and it only took about half an hour to do it.

last place I camped, they had no potable water, I filled at home before I drove there, it was a 150 miles or so of back roads.

That is kind of what we are dealing with in regards to water and emptying the black and gray tanks. We are trying to avoid RV parks/campgrounds, so the places we want to camp tend not to have water, electricity, or dump stations.

if you have a tablet (ipad, etc) I recommend saving the PDF on the tablet so you can refer to it on the fly without printing the 300 pages.

Is it worth getting the guide if the casita is 26 years old? I'm just wondering if it is mostly focused on newer models.

I’ve stayed in many state, local and national parks without hookups. Most had a central spot to fill fresh water tank and most had a dump station. It seems like if the park only has pit toilets, those don’t have dump stations nor water either. In addition most commercial campgrounds will allow a dump for a fee.
