2023 was the NINTH annual ham radio
boondocking on my vacant lot in Chippewa county Wisconsin. The turnout this year was 23, the record turnout was 24 a few years ago, most people just stop by to visit and play radio. I only had one contact (Alabama), others had many but I heard no reports of rare DX contacts. We had 2 Scamps, 1 tent, 1 van and 1 teardrop with a VERY large
awning. Only six of us spent the nights on site.
