You have conquered the 38!

Cool! Where ya camping at?

and that thing seems perfectly leveled! You did a good match up.

If you can tug up the 38, the 18 or the 330 (Don't know which way you went) you are good to go just about anywhere.

Onyx Summit = 8445 feet. It's the highest hiway point in So. Cal!

How cool is that?

And it looks like pulling up that big hill you were finally able to lose Marilyn!

Marilyn almost caught up when the flagman stopped us at 8000' - just before the summit... those last few hundred feet were pokier than the rest!

We stayed up at Serrano - big, fancy campground on the north side of the lake... I figured it wouldn't hurt to be in the vicinity of the Super Kmart if something was missing...

I'm thinking we tested everything pretty well and are ready to go just about anywhere now (though I think I'll skip Independence Pass in CO and Tioga Pass from the Eastern Sierra).

It was an excellent trip with no disasters of any kind...

Went up and back via the 38 (don't much care for the speed racers on the 330 and the dogs get carsick on it)...

it's surprising what a good match the Scamp and the Vibe are - no sag at all on the rear end - nice level tow... the whole thing behaves very nicely on the road... getting 23/24 mpg... even climbing that big hill... just kept those rpms cranked right up...
