Well, Munch and Crunch made another journey Eastward for Memorial Day weekend, went early to avoid the crowds and left early to avoid the same.
Felt a bit on the edge of nowhere, first few days were pretty empty of ativity.
We went to Coulee City, there is a free campground at the end of a 2 mile road! Was REALLY windy, Really rocky for the puppies feet but all in all we had great weather and had a great time!
cant wait to go again.

Great pics. Are the sculptures in the one pic the horses off of 90 in Eastern Washington. Where did you get the flower on the side of the trailer? Really cute!!
Our 1st time out also. Went to Baker Park camp ground just west of Mpls.MN 210 sites very nice beach and boat launch also modern bathrooms and showers. $17.00 night NO electric $21.00 night with electric. We were the only scamp in the camp ground.
This was our 2nd trip out after buying our egg last September, using it only once, and it having been in storage until 27 days ago. We made a list of things we forgot, things we 'should' bring on our next trip June 13th, and things we didn't use but dragged along. No rain at Pymatuning State Park in NW Pennsylvania and YES! We were the only egg in the entire campground....as we pulled away from our camp site on Monday afternoon (15 minutes to break down camp) 2 couples were walking past and I overheard 1 of the women say "I like that!! Honey look!!" My husband and I just smiled at one another knowing we might be 'different', but we're liked!!
Tried loading some pics, but it appears my files are too large. I'll have to adjust my camera for our next weekend out!
Hey thanks! At the end of 17 When you meet US-2, (shell station) continue across US-2 to the dirt road stay right and follow to the end. it was nice! We were the only scamps there too, Mary and I thought what a great place for a FIBERGLASS MEET!!! Perhaps we should organze one for Labor day??
I put the table where it was in front because the wind was Sooooooooooooooooo strong. but i liked it there.
The flowers. well, i cant find them anymore, they were made for wall paper decore and have all started flaking off but i want more, ill have to find some car decal sunflowers.
The horses are the ones on I-90, really cool to see. It was a long but fun trip!

OK Clive, we'll blame you!
This trip started last Saturday near Anacortes, WA. Headed East (13' Scamp Deluxe pulled by a Jeep Liberty 3.7 l) on State 20. Night at Early Winters. Saw only Egg of the trip a 17' Casita from Spokane. On to Priest Lake, ID still on 20. Night in Private RV place. Nice and about $29.
Came back to Cusick Lake north of Republic WA for night. Great State Park. Then along back roads along Canadian boarder to Oroville, Nighthawk, Loomis and 30 miles of washboard gravel road to Conconelly Reservoir for night. That's the picture with 20 motorhomes and me by lake.
Next to last picture is heading west over North Cascade Pass. Last picture is vicinity map.
1130 mile, 16.3 MPG. Far amount of rain but, as always, comfortable - Ron Mayo
Great stuff! Thanks for posting! Looks like a fantastic trip.
Reminds me of Scotland in a way. Though I never ran into a herd of cattle roaming free like that. Sheep, yes. One learned a whole new driving skill when rounding a bend and coming face to face with a herd of sheep in the middle of a one lane road. You got to know which way they were going to go by the look in their eyes!
You've got it Tom. I live on Lopez Island, West of Anacortes. Nice thing about a 13' Scamp, its way cheaper on the ferry than slightly larger trailers.
