Northern California Trip, Redding and then Fortuna

Just came back from a 5 night trip to the Redding, California area and then over to Fortuna. My wife and I finally stayed in a big boy RV Park, where most of the RVs were taller than the HC1 is long. Mountain Gate RV park set a standard that will be hard to beat though. I especially liked the immaculate, tiled, and heated bathrooms.

A few shots are attached. Mountain Gate RV Park just north of Redding. Calatrava Bridge in Redding. Shasta Dam. Victorian business in Ferndale. Burney Falls, east of Redding.

The second RV park in Fortuna was not quite as nice, but it was within walking distance of Eel River Brewing, a big plus.

Yes, Redding, Mt. Shasta, Burney Falls, Trinity Alps are all beautiful places to visit/camp. I have not been to Fortuna. How do you like your HC1? Could you show interior photos, please? We're all curious as to how you arranged the modular blocks.

This is the link to my album showing some of the interior of the trailer, as we used it on the first trip. It is pretty much open to any layout you like. On Happiercamper.com they show about 10 different possible layouts, plus a video showing the interior being set up.

As far as the photos, I thought it was pretty self explanatory. I do not see how to label individual photos. I was using my iPad for the first time with the app, when I posted this.

Fortuna is nothing to speak of, except for the nearby brewery, but it is close to some amazing things. Old Town Eureka, Ferndale, the coast, Humboldt Bay, etc. Heading south you are going through the redwoods on 101, and can split off to drive the Avenue of the Giants, and to see Confusion Hill, and the Trees of Mystery. There is also the drive thru redwood but we did not try to squeeze the HC1 through it.

I figured out and have added captions. Not sure if I could do it on the iPad so I moved to the laptop and it worked fairly well.
