northwest montana boondocking?

I'm in Nelson BC, my friend is in Bozeman, we're looking for a place to meet up approximately half-way, for two nights, with my 1975 Trillium and her 13' Casita. We don't need hook-ups and would prefer someplace mellow with swimming. Any thoughts? Thanks FGRV community!

Seeley-Swan area. Swan Lake, Seeley Lake, Lindberg Lake. I hear there are some new fires on the Kootenai Forest but so far none in the Swan Valley. Lots of water up in NW Montana though so plenty of options.

When we lived in California (1980's) one of our favorite destinations was Flathead Lake near Kalispell. I believe there are two state parks right on the lake. Haven't made it back there since but still remember the beautifully colored gravel shining through the crystal clear water. We usually camped on the west shore. About as close to midway as you'll get.
