Outer Banks NPS Campgrounds New Schedule

The NPS has changed the opening and closing dates for the 4 NPS campgrounds on the Outer Banks (Cape Hatteras NPS).

Oregon Inlet, Cape Point, Frisco, and Ocracoke Island all open on the 3rd Friday in April and close on Monday after last weekend in November.

I wonder if Cape Point every drained? Never stayed there as it's never been open when we go. We'll have to try it this year. We often go to Frisco on our way to Ocracoke but ticks have been an issue in recent years. Raz
