We are going to PEI the last week of June, and are planning on camping somewhere close to the NB/ Quebec border for one nite. Any good place on either side of the border would be great. Then one nite down by Moncton/Shediac, so any place around there would be nice, too.

On the way back we will need a stop in NB, too...maybe between Fredericton and Grand Falls.

We need a pool, for the 2 teen boys we will have in tow, and also if possible, within a quick drive to a dog park...for the 2 sheepdogs, also in tow.

I think we have most of Quebec covered, with just a quick overnite at a truck stop somewhere at the Quebec/Ontario border on the way out, and then at Villlage Vacances on the way back.

I spent 2 hours on the net last nite, and it is hard to tell a good site from a bad one..Any recommendations would be appreciated!

We have enjoyed this Provincial Park just a few miles into New Brunswick from Quebec.

I'll second Charlie's recommendation. We stayed there both going out and coming home last year. Wonderfully well kept. I've never seen a park where the washrooms were cleaned THAT often anywhere.

Looks and sounds nice! And one of the boys is an "old car" buff, so the museum is interesting. We will definitely try to make one of our stops there!

Thanks!

Hi and yes to Charlie's recommendation...
Also, if you stay at two other NB Provincial campgrounds, you get the fourth night free.
At least that was the bonus last year on the PEI trip.
