Finally got around to doing our first shake down trip, going down to Victoria for a couple of days to take in the Burton Cummings show.
When we pulled in, we knew we would be the poor cousins in our little 13'
trillium, imagine our surprise that we weren't the only one there! Unfortunately we didn't get a chance to say hi to the other trill before they left.
We hadn't been to Westbay for about 7-8 years & weren't sure if it would still be okay, but we were pleasantly surprised. It is located on the water in Victoria, just across the bridge in Esquimalt. Downtown is about a 40 minute walk along the Westsong walkway on the ocean, Spinnakers brewpub is about a 20 minute walk, you could take one of the cute little harbor ferries which land right at the RV park. While it's not really camping, it is a nice, convenient place to park your egg when you need to visit the capital region.
