Spring green Wisconsin camp ground?
Planning a trip one month out. Any one camped around "HOUSE ON THE ROCK" in south west Wisconsin> Found some, but over $60 for a place to park. Tower state park is full and high priced. Found two for less then $40 but they do not answer the phone.
I miss serendipity .

There is cave of the mounds, House on the rock, and Frank Lloyd wright's Teliesin all in the area. Thankfully there is also "Toms Camping" less then twenty miles away. Just a few days stop on the way to the show at the worlds largest truck stop in Iowa.

Blackhawk Lake Recreation Area is pretty close and rates are about $25/ night. We were there a couple years ago for a fiberglass rally and enjoyed it.
To inquire about availability, cat 608-623-2707 or complete a reservation request online.

They also show $15 / night non electric. Closer to the Dells it can be $60, but that is full hookup. I just need a place to park.

CG @ SpringGreen WI
There is one at Wisconsin Riverside Resort, on the north side of the river, and S.W. of downtown. when we were there, it was 90°+ and 90% humidity.
Our A/C wasn't able to keep up, so sleeping was spotty.
Has a nice restaurant with A/C, to escape the heat.

But for my nights the only sites available were listed as $50 per night.

Governor Dodge State Park
Be aware that the Wisconsin State park campgrounds require you to have a park entry sticker as well. can get temp for the days you are there or seasonal

Tom’s worked out well, the price was right, it was high on a hill, great for ham radio, and very underutilized. It was a good central location for Taliesin (Frank Lloyd Wright), House on the rock, Pendarvis, and the best cave that I’ve been in here in the upper mid-west, Cave of the Mounds.
