Tammie's ParkLiner

Took our first trip in our new ParkLiner! We left icy Alabama, and drove 425 miles to Manatee Springs State Park on the Suwannee River in Florida. Towing was a breeze and all systems worked well, even for newbies like us. We had plenty of room for everything we needed for the 5-day trip, and we've been comfortable in all kinds of weather. Can't wait for the next trip!

Welcome to the Forum Tammie.
Congratulations on your purchase and on your
first trip. I can only imagine how much pleasure
there was getting out of the cold into the golden
weather.

Did you take any pics?

Ted,

2/3rds of the country has snow on the ground and the Great Lakes are setting an 'iced" record. You have to love Florida.

Thanks, everybody. Yes, we enjoyed those 70 degree days. We only saw 2 other FGTTs, and one was a Lil Snoozy just outside the park. Speaking of sightings, there were several deer at our campsite, plus the raccoons. Florida state parks have never disappointed us, and Manatee Springs was beautiful. We spotted one manatee from the riverbank, and another from our kayaks. Since we had most of our meals in or around the Parkliner, we didn't get to the barbeque place- guess we'll just have to go back!

We have been having many days of cold here in OK, mostly 20* to 30* below normal. Oh, to be in Florida now! Good for you.

Norm and Ginny, All 50 states (not 57) had snow but one. Yes Florida!

Tammie, how did you like the Manatees? I like mine grilled or smoked.

Taken at Manatee Springs State Park, Florida. We only stayed for one night on our way farther south. It was such a beautiful park that we intend to say for quite a bit longer the next time we pass by that way.
